Village studios is a nightclub and recording studio located in downtown Vancouver formerly known as Celebrities Underground. I was commissioned to rebrand the club and create assets to be used by their in-house design team.

As a venue that often hosts touring artists, Village Studios’ visual identity is often subject to limitations in its promotional materials. Because a majority of the flyers are made for specific touring artists a large part of their visual identity is out of their control. Presented with these unique constraints, I designed flyer templates that build a cohesive brand image while allowing for flexibility. After meeting with the team I decided it was best to go with a type heavy style so that it would be easy for the in-house team to make changes and adjust flyer templates accordingly. I also created some more graphical flyers for bigger touring artists.
